When he was hired to create his uniform collection, Tyler said he wanted them to "look sexy and great."
The Northwest chapter of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA has filed a grievance with the world's largest airline operator, asking it to offer the red dress up to size 28. The union hopes the grievance will go to mediation in August.
The red dress currently is only offered up to size 18, though a Delta spokeswoman said the airline offers a range of outfits in other colors and styles up to size 28 that flight attendants can wear.
Patricia Reller, who handles grievances for the union's executive committee, said Friday that even if there was only one flight attendant who wore a size over 18, that person should be able to wear the stylish red dress.
I don't know shit about women's dress sizes but 18 sounds big to me. Don't they start at zero? Seems to me at some point, you are talking big numbers...big numbers that would make it hard to fit down the aisle.
I like this dress-designing Tyler fag...wanting them to look "sexy". Amen. Whatever happened to all those hot flight attendants in short skirts walking the smoky aisles of my youth in 1979? They always made my little pecker stir and now that I'm old enough to have one, they're all gone...replaced with fat librarians!
Malaysian Airlines has that shit down cold. All the girls are tiny little sex dolls wrapped in these blue saris. I wanted to take some pictures of them back in February on my way to Malaysia, but figured I'd be arrested or something. Anyways - American flight attendants should take a page out of their book.

"Bigger" Dresses equal bigger women. I'm all for equality, but lets face it, smaller, slender women are MORE attractive. Not to mention air travel has dropped dramatically over the past few years. They should be hiring strippers to work on the planes, wearing bikinis, which passengers are allowed to pull the strings of, not spending money on HUGE versions of skimpy uniforms! Idiots!
Size 18 is big, any larger and the flight attendant would need two seats and not that little jump seat thing they sit on. They would barely squeeze through the aisle.
